Azerbaijan’s 2nd-wonderful city, Ganja, has been shelled by Armenian forces, as heavy clashes proceed over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh enclave.
The enclave is officially fragment of Azerbaijan but sprint by ethnic Armenians.
The self-proclaimed authorities there mentioned they hit Ganja’s militia airport after Azerbaijani forces shelled the plight’s capital, Stepanakert.
Azerbaijan says no Ganja militia sites had been hit. Higher than 220 of us hold died since clashes started per week ago.
Armenia and Azerbaijan went to war over Nagorno-Karabakh in 1988-94, lastly declaring a ceasefire. On the opposite hand, they’ve never reached a settlement over the dispute.
The contemporary preventing is the worst seen for the reason that ceasefire and the two dilapidated Soviet republics had been blaming every other.
